Tour Itinerary
DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Early morning game drive which will give you excellent predator sightings. Later on return to the lodge for breakfast & relaxation. In the afternoon, proceed for another game drive exploring different sections of the reserve. Optional visit to a Samburu cultural village (very authentic).
Alternatively, instead of the morning and afternoon game drive, you can opt for a full day game drive where you will carry packed lunches.
Dinner & overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
DAY 3: SAMBURU TO LAKE NAKURU
Early breakfast and depart Samburu for Lake Nakuru (approx. 5 hrs drive). Arrive in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will be able to spot some White & black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, Flamingos (seasonal) and tree-climbing lions.
Dinner & overnight at Sarova Lionhill Game Lodge.
DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU TO MAASAI MARA
Early breakfast and then drive to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5–6 hrs), where you will arrive in time for lunch. Afterwards have some rest before going for your game drive.
Dinner & overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp.
DAY 5: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Early morning game drive (best time to see predators). Breakfast at the lodge followed by relaxation time by the pool overlooking the Mara River. Later on after lunch, you will proceed for your afternoon game drive to search of The Big Five.
Alternatively, instead of the morning and afternoon game drive, you can opt for a full day game drive where you will carry packed lunches.
Dinner & overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp.
DAY 6: MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and depart for Nairobi (approx. 5-6 hours’ drive), with an en-route game drive as you exit the park. Drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or airport for departure.
