Samburu, located in northern Kenya, is a captivating travel destination known for its rugged beauty and unique wildlife. Tour Itinerary
DAY 2: HIPPOS IN THE EWASO NYIRO RIVER SAMBURU
You will have a morning game viewing which commences very early when the animals are most active. Later on, retire to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before going for your evening game drive.
Samburu is home to some of Africa’s rarest game species. The river’s permanent waters abound with crocodile and hippo and attract plenty of wildlife including the shy Oryx beisa, Grevy’s zebra, the long-necked gerenuk antelope and the Somali ostrich. Cheetah, Leopard and lion are also found in the reserve too.
Overnight at your lodge/Camp.
DAY 3: SAMBURU - NAIROBI
Leave for on last early morning game drive that promises to be thrilling. Return to the camp for breakfast. Checkout and leave for Nairobi to arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon.
